Air ductwork supply is pre-insulated aluminum panels constructed of both aluminum and Poly-isocyanurate. The sandwich panels are comprised of expanded Poly-isocyanurate rigid foam board, faced on both sides by aluminum foil.

Note: Both sides of the aluminum foil are lacquered with a 3g/m2 weatherproof and ultraviolet ray protection polyester lacquer.
Specification of Use:
The air ducts fabricated using ALU27 20mm, 80/80 panels can be installed in plants:
- with air speed up to 15m/s
- with pressure up to 1000Pa
The air ducts fabricated by using ALU27 30mm, 80/200 panels can be installed in plants:
- with air speed up to 35m/s
- with pressure 1750Pa
All joints completely sealed from with in, with glue and silicon. Conforms to DW144 Class C Standards and SMACNA.
Thermal Insulation Characteristics:
Insulating Material: Closed cell rigid expanded Poly-Isocyanurate foam, CFC free, density 44-48 kg/m3, material physiologically and chemically inert and insoluble, vermin proof, fungus proof and non-metabolic.
Thermal Conductivity: 0.0237 w/(m.k).
Water absorption less than 0% during 24 hour immersion test.
Water Vapor Diffusion (m=infinity resistance): The aluminum foil covering the panel is maintained intact after installation to ensure vapor barrier continuity.
Fire Retardant Characteristics:
Class 0 According To BS: 476 Part 6 & 7
No relevant reduction of insulation, chemical or physical characteristics of the panels is measurable when conveying air in the temperature range of (-35° C to + 110°C)
No relevant modification of insulation, chemical or physical characteristics of the panels is measurable when conveying air in the pressure of 1750 Pascal

Where the Panels of ALU27 can't be used?
- As extractors in the kitchen, as chimneys for smoke or chemical laden smoke
- As transportation for solids
- Outside temperature range -35ºC and +110ºC
- Air speed >15m/s for 20mm thick panel and >35m/s for 30mm thick panel
- when the negative or positive pressure inside the duct is: 20mm thick panel >1000Pa and 30mm thick panel >1750Pa
